US Senator, Elizabeth Warren's oldest brother and a 20-year veteran of the United States military, Donald Reed Herring died from Coronavirus on Tuesday April 21, at the age of 86.
The Massachusetts Democrat announced the death of her brother in a series of tweets on Thursday.
She wrote: 'My oldest brother, Don Reed, died from coronavirus on Tuesday evening.
He joined the Air Force at 19 and spent his career in the military, including five and a half years off and on in combat in Vietnam. He was charming and funny, a natural leader.'
