Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki tests negative for Coronavirus, remains in self-isolation
Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, has tested negative for Coronavirus.
In a tweet posted this morning, the governor said the result of the rapid diagnostic test came back negative but he awaits the result of the PCR test and would remain in self-isolation.
My rapid diagnotic test for #Coronavirus ( #COVID?19 ) came back negative.
However, while still asymptomatic, I have decided to remain in self-isolation and continue working from my private office at home pending the result of the more conclusive PCR test.
The governor on Wednesday March 25th, announced he has gone into self-isolation after two persons who he came in contact with in recent times have both tested positive for the virus.
